Cascade West: The Ammerdown Centre


Why Ammerdown?
Cascade Associates are delighted to be able to offer a new venue for 2011-12 for the Diploma in Individual and Group Supervision. We have a new format which combines the best aspects of the North (time for rest and relaxation in beautiful countryside)and the South course (an extra chance to meet with colleagues and tutors for support) and have chosen the South West to make it accessible to people from Wales, Cornwall and the Midlands.
Ammerdown offers a Retreat Centre nestling in woods beside a Stately Home. It is surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and parkland. The whole place is steeped in peace and tranquillity. No traffic noise – only birds singing! The venue offers an environment which is dedicated to providing excellent home-cooked food and warm and helpful staff.
This course runs over two long weekends and one week thus - combining the intensity of the North course and the convenience of the South course. The introductory weekend sets the scene whilst the week long course allows time for both walking and reflection within the training day as well as time to enjoy the scenery and the relaxing gardens. The final long weekend enables us to complete the course and celebrate awarding of the Cascade Diploma Certificate.


Cascade West: New Course 2011-2012 This course consists of two long weekends Friday to Sunday and one week Saturday to Friday. This course starts in November 2011. At present we are offering an early bird price to encourage people from the South West region - see below 'FEES'.

    • Fees

    We are offering an early bird price for tuition and residential costs of £2500 for the West course 2011/2012 if booked and registered in 2010. (From 2011 there will be an extra 5% added). Fees include tuition, all residential costs, administration costs and registration with ABC. A deposit is required with your registration and the remainder may be paid in full or by instalment* when you register and at the latest by 30th July 2012.

    How to get to Ammerdown

    The Ammerdown Centre is 13 miles outside of Bath near Radstock.

    By air
    The nearest airport is Bristol Lulsgate.

    By train
    The nearest main line station is Bath Spa and there is a frequent bus service from Bath to Radstock. A taxi can be taken from Radstock to Ammerdown.
