Assessment

This is a self, peer and tutor evaluated course and tutors have responsibility for the final assessment.


Peer assessment:
This occurs each time we meet and we expect participants to learn to give and receive clear and concise feedback to further their own development and that of others.

Portfolio of work:
The overall goal of the portfolio and the continual assessment culture on the course is to show evidence of how far the student has achieved the aim "to further the competence and confidence of the supervisee in the best interest of the client" and has demonstrated that their theory of supervision supports that aim.


Learning Review:
This offers an opportunity to give an account of and demonstrate your development in a live dialogue with up to five peers in your practice group.

Log of 75 supervision hours:
This undertaken during the course. This includes 25 hours on the course and 50 hours practice outside of the course with two or more supervisees to completed within 12 months of the start of the course.


Essay
An essay of 5,000 words to include aspects of theory in practice, ethical issues, personal and professional development and personal awareness. It also includes both practical, theoretical and philosophical issues.
